Advanced Fundraising Analysis is also free. Upload your donor data and Que delivers a comprehensive donor health assessment — covering retention health, lifecycle gaps, blind spots, and risk flags — paired with a ranked list of prioritized interventions, each with an estimated revenue impact. Donor scoring – an export of individual donor scores and IDs that can be used in outreach and campaigns – will be coming soon! This feature will require an upgrade.

Grant Intelligence — which includes Grant Insights and Grant Writing — is free to try. You can have one active grant at a time, for up to three grants per organization. Grant Insights helps you evaluate each opportunity for fit and effort before you commit, so you can focus your time on grants you are more likely to win. Grant Writing generates a funder-aligned first draft proposal you can refine in your own voice. Both are powered by Que. If you want full access, you can upgrade to the Grant Intelligence package at any time in the Hub — $99/month or $999/year.

Network for Good, Bonterra’s fundraising platform built for small nonprofits, is available as a free 30-day trial directly through Nonprofit Hub. The trial gives you expanded Que capabilities inside Network for Good — including personalized coaching, donor segmentation and analysis, campaign strategy, smart giving forms, and reporting. There is a 3% platform fee for donations during this trial period. At the end of your trial, you can upgrade to the Intelligence plan to maintain full access and remove the 3% platform fee, or choose the Essentials plan or Free plan depending on your program needs. The Essentials and Free plans for Network for Good retain the 3% platform fee on donations.

Overall, the Nonprofit Hub free experience is designed to deliver real value from day one — there is no pressure to upgrade. We will always be transparent about our payments fee, and we do not ask your donors for tips.

Bonterra applies SOC 2, ISO 27001, and PCI-DSS–aligned protections to safeguard financial and donor data. We also follow strict HIPAA compliance protocols for personal health information. Your data stays securely isolated and cannot be accessed by other customers.

Your data is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS), the same infrastructure trusted by the world’s leading banks, healthcare providers, and governments. AWS has explicitly committed that it does not retain or use customer data for AI training.

This is a reasonable concern and one we take seriously. Your data is never used to train Large Language Models (LLMs).

Bonterra does not train or host its own LLMs. We only use trusted foundation models, the large, general-purpose AI systems built by others, to provide answers and analysis.

Your information is only used to answer your request, and the third-party model providers we partner with do not retain customer data after the response is generated, or use it for training or fine-tuning.

Network for Good is fully integrated with Nonprofit Hub, so no additional registration is required. For other Bonterra customers a separate login will be needed. Registration only takes a few minutes and gives you immediate access to the free grant tools, GrantMatch, and Que.

Yes — Nonprofit Hub is not limited to development or fundraising professionals. Any team member can be added as a user and access the tools relevant to their role.

That said, the most important first step is setting up your organization’s profile. While you can explore features without one, the profile is what gives Que the context it needs to deliver meaningful grant matching and fundraising guidance. The more complete your profile, the more valuable the Hub becomes for everyone using it.

Access is organized around an organizational account with one designated owner. The owner is responsible for managing who else gets access and what they can do — and because of that level of control, anyone claiming ownership must hold a senior role at the organization and go through a verification process. Once that’s in place, adding additional team members is straightforward.

We plan to continually add new experiences and capabilities to Nonprofit Hub. The specifics of what is launched and when it launches will depend on our ongoing work with nonprofits to prioritize the most impactful items. However, a few that we are particularly excited about are:
