Personalized 1:1 human coaching

Nonprofits receive fifteen hours of live expert consultation where they can work 1:1 with their dedicated fundraising coach. During these sessions, they build confidence, determine the strongest areas of need and opportunity, develop and refine their fundraising strategy, and more.

Group-based learning

Twelve virtual fundraising workshops bring nonprofits across the Jumpstart program together for expert-led instruction. These monthly group-based training sessions facilitate peer learning and sharing to spark new ideas and grow expertise.

All-in-one fundraising software

Our simple, scalable Network for Good software allows your nonprofit partners to grow their fundraising efforts, steward donor relationships, track impact, and access best practice resources. FAQs about Jumpstart

Bonterra’s Jumpstart program is a tech-enabled capacity building program that allows funders to strengthen nonprofit resilience and accelerate their community impact. It’s great for foundations that want to support nonprofits becoming more financially sustainable, addressing the growing digital and AI-divide through ethically developed solutions, and providing 1:1 expert support. The yearlong program provides nonprofits with AI-powered fundraising software, one-on-one human fundraising coaching, and group-based learning opportunities helping them build confidence, raise more money, save time, and build long-term sustainability. Plus, nonprofits learn more about the current funding landscape and where the best opportunities for support exist for them.

The Activate track is for emerging nonprofits who are not established enough to need the full suite of fundraising and engagement software. These nonprofits do not have the time or resources to onboard new technology. This can also be a good fit for organizations that are happy with their current fundraising software and would still benefit from coaching, best practices, and peer-based learning.

The Accelerate track is for more mature organizations who have a basic fundraising operation that they want to expand. They are looking to adopt all-in-one fundraising software to take their revenue from individual giving to the next level.

Once a funder is ready to invest in the program, they identify how many nonprofits they would like to include in their cohort, typically with a minimum of ten. The Jumpstart team then helps identify nonprofits to participate based on the funder’s nonprofit partners and their community’s needs. We also help you host information sessions with nonprofits, sharing what Jumpstart is, and allowing nonprofits to request involvement.
