Multi-year Strategic Collaboration Agreement to offer advanced, AI-powered, network-driven cloud solutions for mission-driven organizations
AUSTIN, TX (October 2, 2025) — Bonterra, the leader in social impact technology and Amazon Web Services, Inc. (AWS), an Amazon.com, Inc. company (NASDAQ: AMZN), today announced a multi-year Strategic Collaboration Agreement (SCA). The partnership will accelerate the development and deployment of advanced cloud-native solutions, that harness AI, data insights, and the power of the Bonterra Network to strengthen nonprofit and social good organizations worldwide.
With AWS as its strategic cloud provider, Bonterra will co-develop applications and digital services that leverage AWS’s cloud innovation and Bonterra’s agentic AI capabilities. One example is Bonterra Que, the first agentic AI platform for funders, nonprofits, and supporters that is engineered to take ethical action (under human direction), and automate repetitive tasks—such as form generation, donor outreach, or grant matching. These innovative solutions will empower the nonprofit sector to raise more, give more, and achieve greater mission outcomes with speed and efficiency.
“The collaboration between Bonterra and AWS will accelerate cloud-enabled innovation in the social impact sector, empowering nonprofit organizations to more effectively deliver on their missions,” said Jeff Kratz, Vice President of nonprofits and public sector industry sales at AWS.
At the center of this collaboration is the Bonterra Network, the largest secure, connected ecosystem in social good, linking more than 180,000 nonprofits, 20 million supporters, and 25% of all corporate giving. The partnership also reinforces Bonterra’s commitment to accelerating business growth while ensuring customer success. By strengthening the Bonterra Network with AWS’s scale, security, and AI capabilities, Bonterra will provide nonprofits and funders with smarter, more effective fundraising, faster grant access, and automated and streamlined processes.
“Our collaboration with AWS marks a transformational moment for Bonterra and the customers we serve,” said Ben Cohen, Chief Revenue Officer of Bonterra. “By combining the scale and intelligence of the Bonterra Network with AWS’s leadership in cloud and AI innovation, we will deliver groundbreaking solutions that connect funders, nonprofits, and supporters while driving measurable change in communities worldwide.”
Through this multi-year agreement, AWS and Bonterra will continue to push the boundaries of what’s possible in social impact technology. Together they will equip organizations with secure, ethically managed data and advanced AI-driven insights that fuel collaboration across the sector. By contributing to and benefiting from the Bonterra Network, every donor, grantee, and volunteer action makes the ecosystem smarter and more impactful for all.
