Pete Karns is the SVP of strategy at Bonterra—a social good software company focused on powering those who power social impact with donor engagement, supporter engagement, program management, and corporate social responsibility (CSR) tech solutions.
Pete plays a collaborative role across Bonterra informing and guiding opportunities to better serve current and future customers and markets and ensuring that Bonterra delivers on its purpose. Pete formerly served as the general manager of CSR at Bonterra, and in various product and operational leadership capacities with CyberGrants, which is now Bonterra’s CSR solution, where he drove product innovations in areas including analytics, disbursements, nonprofit efficiency, and employee engagement while supporting a tripling of clients, and dramatic company growth. In this tenure, Pete has held leadership roles at IBM, and MRO Software. Pete is currently based in Massachusetts and holds an MBA from New York Institute of Technology and a BS in Engineering from Massachusetts Maritime Academy.
