Language Translations

An overview of how to set up and manage Language Translations in Bonterra CyberGrants, including translation file preparation, import, testing, and publishing.

This training module explains the Language Translations process in CyberGrants — a feature that enables users to interact with the portal in their preferred language. By configuring supported languages, organizations can create a more inclusive experience across their program activities. Language Translations can also be enabled for nonprofit organizations to complete tasks like creating grants or confirming gifts. 

The video outlines the full translation workflow, starting with your Implementation Consultant generating Excel export files for each area requiring translation. These files must be translated by your team or a designated vendor, following key formatting rules. Once completed, the files are returned to your Implementation Consultant for import and quality assurance. Afterward, the translated content goes through User Acceptance Testing before being published to production.
