Editing Payroll Pledges

This training module introduces how to manage payroll pledges in Bonterra CyberGrants, helping donors keep their giving aligned with their goals. The video explains that payroll giving programs can be structured as either Open or Closed Campaigns. Open Campaigns allow year-round flexibility to start, adjust, or cancel deductions at any time, while Closed Campaigns limit changes to specific periods, such as during an annual Fall enrollment window. It also outlines how information flows between CyberGrants and your organization’s payroll department. 

The session further defines Payroll Statuses—Pending, Canceled, Active, and Closed—so users can understand where each pledge stands within the payroll cycle. Viewers then learn how to make updates directly in the Giving Page through the Give Again or Giving History portlets, choosing whether to edit amounts, remove organizations, or cancel deductions entirely. By the end, viewers know how to confidently manage their recurring giving and ensure their contributions reflect their current priorities.
