Entering Attendance via Classes & Terms

Session Description: Learn how to use the Classes & Terms feature for tracking attendance.

Audience: All users

The Apricot Attendance Tracker feature helps users efficiently manage class attendance. It allows them to create and edit class rosters, track attendance, and make changes to existing rosters as needed. Users can access the feature through the "Classes and Terms" option on the left navigation bar. Administrators must set up at least one class with one term for users to utilize the attendance tracking functionality.

Users can create class rosters by clicking the "Enroll Participants" button and selecting the desired individuals. The class rosters are flexible, allowing users to enroll or unenroll participants at any time. To edit the roster, users can click the kebob icon next to a participant's name and select the "Unenroll" option, choosing the appropriate reason from the dropdown menu. The "Show Unenrolled" setting determines whether unenrolled participants' names are displayed with a strikethrough, though their attendance cannot be recorded moving forward.
