Who is Bonterra and what exactly is happening?

Bonterra brings together Cybergrants®, EveryAction™, Network for Good®, and Social Solutions® and their respective entities to create a landscape-defining software platform to disrupt the social good industry. By combining these leading brands, Bonterra is delivering on our shared vision to provide enhanced value to nonprofit organizations, donors, grantmakers, foundations, and constituents through innovation and accelerated growth. NGP VAN™ will continue to remain a stand-alone brand moving forward, and ActionKit™ and Mobilize™ will roll up to NGP VAN. This allows us to continue to maintain NGP VAN as explicitly serving Democratic and progressive political customers.

Why the name Bonterra?

The name “Bonterra” stems from the French word “good” (bon) and the Latin word “land” (terra). We like to think of it as “the foundation of all good works” and it represents the exponential good that can be accomplished with the right footing or foundation.

Looking across the breadth and depth of our platform, it becomes clear that what we offer is quite literally a “good foundation” of best-in-class technology that enables and elevates the hardworking people behind social good organizations.

Has the ownership of the company changed with the announcement of Bonterra?

Our ownership is not changing.  Cybergrants, EveryAction, Network for Good, and Social Solutions and their respective entities will continue to be operated under a single holding company, which will now be known as Bonterra.

Will there be changes to the way our product works or looks?

Our products, and the customer/client experience with them, will not initially change. We will continue to invest in our products, innovate on the platforms, and provide solutions that transform social good organizations, and we look forward to providing even better solutions in the future, under the new name and branding.

Can we switch between brands or upgrade to another service that offers more features than we have now?

Yes, you can add additional products and services from other brands to your existing plans. For details and pricing information please reach out to your existing account executive.  You can learn more about the combined products and services offered by Bonterra at BonterraTech.com.
